Cavity Wall Insulation

Up to 35% of all heat loss in your home is lost through the walls. Most modern homes are built by constructing masonry walls with an air-gap, or “cavity”, of at least 50mm in between. Insulating this cavity is one of the best ways to reduce the amount of energy you need to heat your home.

HOW CAVITY WALL INSULATION WORKS?

HOW CAVITY WALL INSULATION WORKS?

Once our surveyors have confirmed if your home is suitable, our Cavity Wall Installation team will drill small holes about the size of a pound coin into the outside of the property.

They’ll then use specialist equipment to blow insulating material – usually made from made from a high percentage, recycled granulated mineral wool fibre or polystyrene beads – into the cavity.

The insulating material creates a “quilt” effect in the cavity around your home, meaning much less heat is able to escape and you won’t have to use as much energy to keep your home warm inside.

And, once your cavity wall insulation is fully installed, We will obtain a 25 year guarantee on your behalf, leaving you with peace of mind as well as a cosy home.

WHY HAVE IT?

Cavity Wall Insulation allows you to keep your home warmer in winter and cooler in the summer. By filling the cavity between your external walls you’ll be preventing warm air escaping, helping maintain a comfortable temperature within your home AND save you money on your energy bills.

FUNDING

Cavity Wall Insulation prices vary depending on the property but, thanks to government funding schemes such as ECO, you may qualify for a Cavity Wall Insulation grant to help you with the cost of insulating your home.
